Jane Billing is our resident expert in shipping containers converted into chemical stores. Jane has been involved in the shipping container industry for nearly 40 years, both as an employee and working for herself. In 1986 Jane worked for a company called ‘Container survey services’ (CSS surveyed shipping containers for shipping lines and leasing companies around the UK).
In 2000 she became owner/director of a shipping container resale and leasing company until 2009. In September 2012 Jane returned to what she knows best and set up another shipping container re-sale and rental business called Billie Box Ltd. All through this time, Jane offered steel containers converted into Chemical stores mainly for the Agricultural industry.
In 2014, this website was set up to enable farmers in the UK to source steel chemical storage containers.
Outside of work, Jane is an enthusiastic fundraiser for mainly cancer and local charities. She has raised over £30k for a variety of local charities since the start of Billie Box.
Jane said: “I am willing and eager to assist the farming community, knowing that the HSE are now enforcing the storage of chemicals/pesticides in a safe and secure unit.”
